A few photos from the village celebrations for these two events. Maureen Garrod and Rosemary Westley are identical twins who have lived in the village for most of their lives.
Maureen Garrod is fourth from the right. Next to her, in the cowboy costume, is Peter Skolsky who may have been one of the DPs (Displaced Persons from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine) who lived at the far end of the village after the war.
